1. Service Description

SecureBin.ai ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our") provides:

• Encrypted Pastebin: A zero-knowledge, client-side encrypted pastebin for securely sharing text, code, and files. All encryption and decryption is performed in your browser.
• Developer Tools: A collection of free, client-side tools including hash generators, Base64 encoders, JSON formatters, password generators, and more.

The Service is provided free of charge and is accessible without creating an account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SecureBin.ai only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:

• Store, share, or distribute illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious software
• Facilitate fraud, phishing, or identity theft
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, threaten, or harm other individuals
• Distribute personal information of others without their consent (doxxing)
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the Service's infrastructure

3. Zero-Knowledge Disclaimer

SecureBin.ai operates on a zero-knowledge architecture. This means:

• All paste content is encrypted client-side before being stored on our servers.
• We do not possess the encryption keys and cannot access, read, moderate, or review the contents of encrypted pastes.
• We cannot comply with requests to reveal paste contents, as we are technically unable to decrypt them.
• You are solely responsible for the content you encrypt and share through the Service.

While we cannot monitor encrypted content, we reserve the right to remove any paste or terminate access to the Service if we have reasonable grounds to believe it is being used in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

4. No Warranty / As-Is

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• That the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• That any data stored will be preserved beyond the selected expiration period
• That the encryption implementation is free from vulnerabilities

You use the Service at your own risk. We strongly recommend not using SecureBin.ai as the sole storage location for critical or irreplaceable data.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SecureBin.ai and its operators, developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Damages resulting from any interruption or cessation of the Service

This limitation of liability applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Data Storage and Retention

Paste data is stored as encrypted ciphertext in Cloudflare KV, a globally distributed key-value store. Regarding data retention:

• Pastes are automatically and permanently deleted when their selected expiration time (TTL) is reached.
• Pastes marked as "burn after reading" are permanently deleted after a single view.
• We do not create independent backups of paste data.
• Once deleted, paste data is irrecoverable.
• We do not guarantee data availability or persistence for any specific duration.

7. Intellectual Property

The SecureBin.ai name, logo, and website design are the property of SecureBin.ai. The underlying technology and code may be open source and subject to their respective licenses.

You retain all rights to the content you create and encrypt through the Service. By using the Service, you do not grant us any rights to your content (which we cannot access in any case due to our zero-knowledge architecture).

8. Third-Party Services

SecureBin.ai may integrate with or display content from third-party services, including:

• Cloudflare: Infrastructure and hosting provider
• Google Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics (if enabled)
• Google AdSense: Advertisement serving

Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice
• Remove any paste or content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms
• Discontinue the Service entirely, with reasonable notice when possible

Upon termination, all stored paste data will eventually expire per its TTL and be permanently deleted.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SecureBin.ai and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice (such as a banner on the website).

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the United States.
